Apollo's Platform

So, the heralds Medon and Romur and the servants are busy carrying the butchered meat through the city, where, I can imagine, all the people were following them to celebrate the feast of Apollo in the woods of Apollo at Pyrgi.

Is Pyrgi the sanctuary of Apollo?
Is Pyrgi the platform of Apollo?
Is Pyrgi the place of the rites?

In scroll 5 I used the picture above about the rites of Apollo and look at the floor in the painting! It looks like the floor we found on the platform at Pyrgi! Could Pyrgi not only be the place of gathering, but the sanctuary of Apollo also? The sanctuary were the rites like Appelai are performed?

This can be an important discovery, is there something in the writing of Homer that could confirm this?

And if it is Apollo's platform, how can we establish a confirmation in the relation to the god of Apollo. Is there something to be found in the location of the platform? Or since Apollo is the god of the sun an alinement with the sun?
