Aipu (Alifeira)

Somewhere between Kyparissia and Thryoëssa is where we focus our search for Aipu. We're looking for places somewhat away from the Alpheios and high up the hills. That leaves two possible candidates, both on a hill top, though one's close to the Alpheios, the other less so. Let's take a look.
It's a steep climb to the site of Alifeira, but the site and the view are absolutely worth it. The site's huge and very beautiful, the stones, the wall, the temples or what's left of it.
