Bedding
The last 1/3 of the route to the spring is flat and close to one of the collecting rivers. A small hill is forcing the streams to join. The hill is called Koloni Syvros. Some translator tell's us that the spring is "nicely worked", others that it's "boxed in", so we wanted to see the place were the rivers join.
That isn't an easy thing to do. The stream is restrained by embankments which are well maintained. On top of it thick reed bushes are blocking our way. After a few disappointments we found a way into the river bed. We walked it until we found the place where the rivers join.
There is nothing there that could be explained as 'nicely worked' by 3 men called Ithacos, Neritos and Polyktor.
If there was something to find, the maintance workers should have found it a long time ago.
It is obvious that Ithakos, Neritos and Polyktor are not 3 men, but the 3 mountains that surround the plain. They boxed in the streams and joined them for the inhabitants of Ithaca City.
