December 19th was a busy day. We have been able to fit in al movements, places and distances within the timeframe of this day. This means that the locations we found and the distances between them are consistent with Homers Odyssey.
Except for the suitors everyone is home before dark. And so is Odysseus. In a few days, December the 20th, all suitors will be killed. The morning after that, 21st of December, Odysseus will leave the palace to see his father Laërtes. And right there the Odyssey ends quite abruptly.
Untill now everything has been pretty straight forward, but that is going to change. We go back earlier this day December 19th, because we haven't discuss the report yet that Telemachos gave Penelope after his lunch. And there is something wrong with Telemachos' report. From this moment on things will be set in a different context.
