Ferrymen
Ferrymen had brought them over from the mainland, who also ferried other men -whoever came to them.
Philoitios and his animals arrived in another way than Eumaios and Melanthios did.

Plagia
Ferry route Plagia - Ithaca
Philoitios has used Public transport.
3200 years ago! As mentioned earlier this mainland must have been Plagia. Plagia is the perfect place for the heards and own by Odysseus. There is about 36 Km between Plagia and Vasiliki.

The Phaeacians would have rowed similair distance at high speed in one and an half hour. If this ferrymen took twice that time and left at first light, Philoitios must have arrived about 10:00 at the harbour of Ithaca.

From there it is a half an hour walk to the palace. So, Philoitios arrived at the palace about 10:30 hours.
