Herder
The first 1/3 of the route is the same Odysseus walked from Mikros Gialos. It is a beautiful walk. Half way we encountered a mixed drove of sheep and goats. The herder walked with 2 mules. We tried to make a conversation but my Greek wasn't sufficient to gather any information about his profession.
It is a good thing herdsmen are still around in the area, nothing changed here in 3200 years.
