Hermes Hill
At the evening the good pig herder came to Odysseus and his son.
Path Eumaios walked over Hermes Hill
I had just got on to the crest of the hill of Hermes above the town when I saw a ship coming into harbor with a number of men in her. They had many shields and spears, and I thought it was the suitors, but I cannot be sure.

We know Eumaios must have gone to tend to his pigs first, because he left Penelope at 10:20, so if he'd gone straight back to his hut he should've been there about 11:30, but:
Eumaios doesn't reappear till the evening, when he informs Odysseus and Telemachos about something he's seen:
On his walk to his pigs Eumaios observed the ambush ship coming back to the harbour of Ithaca, from the top of a hill named after Hermes. Naturally, we walked the route again to confirm the view and indeed, the bay is visible from several spots on the hill, including the top where Eumaios would have noticed the ship coming in round about 10:45. And he wasn't the only one.
