The second beach to check out is now called Ammouso beach, which equally fails on both criteria as it doesn't have any fields closeby nor has it the required wind conditions, because it's enclosed by mountains. So, we can discard this as the right beach, too.

However, we did come across a well on the square just above the beach. Considering Rheithron means 'that what flows', we could just have stumbled upon the other harbour Mentes mentioned, the well might be the reason Homer called it that. In that case Mentes' beach would have to be near, so let's continue our explorations.
