Vrisses
Starting from the assumption Nestor would build his new palace further from the coast and higher than usual, I climbed the steep mountains south of Peristeria.
Above the village of Vrisses, 5 km from and 200 metres higher up than our Pylos, there's a remarkable site. The view is breathtaking and there's a kind of rectangular and square-shaped quarry. Big stones lie scattered around.
It took me a while to understand what I was looking at, but it could be the unfinished foundations of the new palace for Nestor.
