The stream next to the path

From beneath the village of Vournikas a shallow descent takes another 1/3 of the trip. It's a nice walk, everything is green and moist. There are streams all around the path. Plenty of water for the pigs to drink and acorns too. Ideal for their last supper. The path ends down in the valley, where the main road crosses the river. We walked the perfect pigroute in january in freezing conditions. It can be really cold here, when the wind is north.
