After finding Doulichion and every other island under the reign of Odysseus, we were able to determine the locations of lots of places that confirm the thesis Lefkada is ancient Ithaca.

The harbours of Mentes and Rheitron have been discovered, locating Neion in the process,
Telemachos' voyage to Pylos, passing the straight between the city of Ithaca and the city of Samos, fits nicely.
The place of the ambush halfway is found quite easily.
The waypoints of Telemachos' return correspond perfectly.
The 'sharp islands' can be resolved convincingly.
The location of the watchmen explains the strange landing of Telemachos on the nearest coast satisfactorily.
Odysseus return to Ithaca in a straight course fits Homer's description finally.
The season and Venus match Rhadamanthos and Odysseus' travel times adequately.
The land of Laƫrtes, now called Plagia, has been identified as being Crocyleia and is part of the demos Ithaca.
The harbour of Phorkys has been revealed to be a waypoint and a home for seals.
The Phaeacians delivered Odysseus to the wrong harbour, Syvota was the intended target.
The wrong harbour was Kypos Beach on Cape Lougi, which wasn't part of Odysseus' kingdom apparently.
Telemachos' nearest shore has been identified as the headland between Rouda and Syvota Bay.

My final conclusion is that it all confirms the thesis that Lefkada is ancient Ithaca!
