INDEX
Odysseus lived over 3200 years ago. Homer wrote down his story more then 400 years later. In his book 'Iliad' Homer described the fall of Troy and in his book the 'Odyssey' Homer described Odysseus' 10-year odyssey. Since then, many generations went by, the world changed, names were forgotten, battles were fought and stories faded, causing a gap in time.

Homer's books, however, survived almost 28 centuries as a de facto time capsule. As a result of the hiatus in history, it was uncertain whether Homer's stories were fact or fiction. The excavation of Troy by Heinrich Sliemann in the nineteenth century cleared that up. Sliemann believed that Troy did exist and looked for clues in Homer's books. In doing so, finding Troy turned out not to be difficult at all.

Many of the ancient sites mentioned in Homer's books have been discovered, but strangely, the whereabouts of Odysseus' island Ithaca remained a mystery. Of course, there are many theories about the location of Ithaca, and Found!Doulichion is one of them. However, Found!Doulichion not only reveals the possible location of Ithaca, it also discovers the other islands of Odysseus and, moreover, it shows where the mysterious island of Doulichion might have been. And much more!
